Picture of Love

I started with an old, kind of faded oil painting that I bought at an estate sale several years ago.  I liked the frame so I tucked away in the basement until I thought of something to do with it.  Using some round label stickers and some spray paint, I made this:

Here is how I did it:

I started with the painting.  I then used the round stickers to form the word LOVE.
I just did it freestyle.  I kind of wanted a funky look.  I used painters tape to cover the edges of the frame.  I then spray painted over the canvas.  I allowed it to dry for a few hours and peeled off the stickers and the tape.

Chocolate Covered Ritz Bits-- Ridiculously Good!

This is my family's favorite Christmas treat.  I'm not sure why we don't make them year round.  All you need is one box of Peanut Butter Ritz Bits and one package of almond bark.  Melt the almond bark in the microwave according to package directions and dip the Ritz Bits one by one into the melted chocolate. Put the dipped bits onto parchment paper or waxed paper.  Within minutes they will be ready to eat.  I guarantee they will not last long!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

I made this tree out of old cardboard blocks.
Here's how they looked when I started.
I glued them together and spray painted the whole thing silver.  I added a star to the top.  I created and printed the words and decoupaged them on.  I spray painted a plastic pot and added the lights.

Now Dasher! Now Dancer!

Words created in Paint and printed in Word.  Feel free to copy and paste.
Spray painted an old frame and mat.  Done.

Stacked Serving Tray Made with Dollar Store Finds

I also made 3 others one layer trays using vases in varying heights. I plan to use these when I serve my Christmas Day buffet.
